    EmuDevs Server Patch Notes List

    Here's a list of major fixes and updates that went on today. Thanks to some of the EmuDevs members Tyrvana, Vitrex and Syphex.

    Hotfix Patch Notes 1.1

    General
    • Now when you equip an item into your Special Item slot it will instantly reset and add default stats to that item. Also, your special item doesn't have to be sublevel > 2 to receive stat updates. Once you level your item it will continue to increase its stats.

    Fixes
    • Fixed Warrior and Paladin Mercenary classes not having cloth, leather and mail armor proficiency
    • Fixed when equipping gloves, cloak or other special items into the slot it will set your stats to mana instead of Stamina & major class stat
    • Fixed self disconnect when deleting an item. This has something to do with special item deletion (should already be fixed)
    • Temp Fix: If your Mercenary is gone there was no way to get it back. Now there is - relog and your Mercenary will be with you once more. This is a temp fix because later I don't want players to relog every time.


    There's still some known issues and I'll get to them asap!

    Keep suggesting and reporting guys!

    General
    • You can no longer delete a special item if it is equip in the special item slot. You will be prompt accordingly when trying to delete an item associated with special item
    • Heirlooms now cost 2000 EmuDevs Points each. Teleport to Dalaran and purchase some now!
    • Since EmuDevs Points is an invisible currency and ExtendedCost, when trying to purchase items from a vendor and you don't have enough of that currency it will prompt you with a custom error message saying what you need for that item.

    Fixes
    • Fixed crash when deleting heirlooms and possibly other item classes
    • Fixed special item data not deleting when deleting a special item
    • Fixed Mercenary attacking you when you cast specific spells. Note: Your Mercenary might hit you but he/she will immediately go out of combat and be your friend again.

    Patch Notes 3 (Major Changes)

    Here are some major fixes and updates today. Some weren't issues but Tommy logic. Thanks to @Vitrex from EmuDevs for reporting most of these issues.

    Some other stuff that didn't feel right when I was playing. I felt that special item stat ratings like hit, spell power, attack power, etc. weren't increasing enough at all and were WAY too low. I only had them increasing only by one no matter the quality or special item level. That has changed per quality, along with major stats.

    For this update make sure to:
    • Clear your cache

    Other things that were done:
    • Mercenaries were wiped. You'll have to make a new one.
    • Item(s) that are equip in your special slot is no longer equip. You'll have to re-equip any special item you had equipped.
    • All current player special item experience and max experience has been reset because of the new changes. Sublevel wasn't changed so enjoy getting better stats and those free levels!

    General
    • You will now be prompt with an error messaging saying you cannot equip a Special item if you already have one equip.
    • "View Item in Special Slot" menu will no longer show if you don't have an item equip.
    • "Remove Off-Hand" menu will no longer show when your Mercenary does not have an off-hand weapon equipped.
    • Stamina and major stat (Intellect, Agility, etc) were changed via all qualities. (Look below)
    • Poor, Common and Uncommon special item max Stamina/Major Stat gain per level were decreased by 1 from a max of 3.
    • Poor, Common and Uncommon special item hit rating, defense rating, spell power, attack power, etc. were changed and will now randomize from 1 to a max of 2 stat value(s).
    • Rare special item max Stamina/Major stat gain per level was increased from 3 (Stamina) & 2 (Major Stat) to (now) a max of 4.
    • Rare special item hit rating, defense rating, spell power, attack power, etc. were changed and will now randomize from 1 to a max of 4.
    • Epic special item max Stamina/Major stat gain per level was increased from 4 (Stamina) & 2 (Major Stat) to (now) a max of 10.
    • Epic special item hit rating, defense rating, spell power, attack power, etc. were changed and will now randomize from 1 to a max of 10.
    • Legendary special item max Stamina/Major stat gain per level was increased from 5 (Stamina) & 3 (Major Stat) to (now) a max of 15.
    • Legendary special item hit rating, defense rating, spell power, attack power, etc. were changed and will now randomize from 1 to a max of 15.
    • Timeworn special item max Stamina/Major stat gain per level was increased from 7 (Stamina) & 4 (Major Stat) to (now) a max of 22.
    • Timeworn special item hit rating, defense rating, spell power, attack power, etc. were changed and will now randomize from 1 to a max of 22.

    Fixes
    • Fixed specific Mercenary class and role not able to equip any gear or weapons. This wasn't a within-the-source issue, it was only missing data in the database. I forgot to add data for Warrior Tank, Paladin Healer and Paladin Tank class & role(s). Mercenaries will be wiped, but this time your Mercenary will have starter gear.
    • Fixed |cffFFF text showing on common items. Cache clear may be needed.
    • Possibly fixed an issue where you cannot equip certain items after you unequip them from special slot.
    • Fixed logic when reaching the maximum 15 items shown when trying to equip a special item. It will now stop at 15 (or if something goes wrong >= 15)

    • Added support for Multi-Vendor.
    • Special Item is no longer associated with the Mercenary system. You can now press .ed and go to "Special Item Feature" to equip, view or remove a special item.
    • Instead of "View equipped special item" menu it will now show the item you have equipped in your special item slot with "[Equipped]" beside it when you go to "Special Item Feature" menu and have an item equipped. This lifts the issue of having to click multiple menus to get to that particular action.
    • After equipping an item in the special slot it will now show the item link. e.g. "Successfully equipped [ITEMLINK] in your special item slot"
    • Mercenaries are now vendors and will show items that can be bought with EmuDevs Points.
    • You can now buy gold for EmuDevs Points. 1 gold is 1 EmuDevs Points item.
    • .ed gossip menu now has an option to resummon your missing Mercenary. Logging out and back in will still resummon a missing Mercenary.
    • "[Item] [Already Equipped]" message was changed to "[Item] [Equipped]" for less clutter.
    • If your Mercenary is not in combat and lost some health they will start eating food that will increase their health. This effect is lost when in combat.

    Fixes
    • After removing Special Item from Mercenaries it should've fixed some issues players were having, like equipping items or accessing the Special menu itself.

    • For server economy sake 1 gold is now 100 EmuDevs Points.


    Fixes
    • Fixed EmuDevs Points not being removed after purchasing gold.
    • Fixed new options not showing up when using the ".ed" command.
