[DBC] How to edit gems bonuses.

Hello, Members, admins, today i gonna show you how to edit your gems values.
I don't take any Credits for that , because that was answer to my question in support section.
P.s That is my first "tutorial" on that forum, don't blame me if i do something wrong. :)

Okay, first of all what we need.

    Okay, we can start.
Open up your DBC editor and choose the "spellItemEnchantment.dbc" file.
Locate your eyes to column number "33" and scroll down until you see your gem item id, for example mine was "40111" and i found that :

Good, i found mine gem. now i scroll left to column number "5" and number "8"
Change the value which you need, for example i will take the "100"

Okay, we changed the value of gem, but the description still the same...
No problem, just navigate your mouse to column "14" And change the description of your Gem. Mine was +20 str, i change it to +100.

Tadaaaam. Now you need to make custom patch , if you don't know how to do that, just feel free to ask, i will update this "tutorial" soon then. :)

Good luck, and thank you for your attention. :)

You can only have one number or letter for the patch. patch-5.mpq and patch.t.mpq are both valid, patch-11.mpq is not.

I did that serverals time, but it won't help :-<. I place patch file in wow/data folder. I'm using 4.3.4 server

P/s: Custom gem i made following your guide, it works but it won't display. I know it works by see stats increase by add socket gem!
