I was wondering if it would be possible to make a system where players with enough gold could actually have their own vendors. It would work something like this: have a vendor you go to in order to purchase space somewhere whether it be a main city or off in a secluded area, obviously main area space would be much more expensive, anyway once the space is purchased an npc under their account guid is spawned in the area and they are teleported there, then only the account holder that purchased can edit it from the start, such as adding items etc and will make the gold from whatever they sell. Now would also be cool if in this owner menu of sorts you can add the names of other characters who can add inventory and the owner who purchased the space/vendor will make a portion of the gold. Would be better if the npc could actually charge by the week/month for renting the space make it so players can be small wow business owners and even own gold banks etc, with the same process as the vendor only people can deposit their gold in this bank and even take out loans which cost them interest in turn pays the owner.
I would for this to actually be Elua project for a more advanced coder but c++ would be fine with me too but have a repack that i have spent tons of time customizing and woudln't want to have to redo all that work to compile in a script but would if necessary. Any thoughts/takers on this project?
