Blockscape is more of a sandbox at the moment, it is still in beta and is currently undergoing an engine rewrite.
It isn't exactly the most interesting game to play, but if you're into creating buildings and structures, or you're in to minecraft you will appreciate this game.
There isn't really much to say about it lol it's not free to play, but if you pay like $20 or something like that you're set for the life of game, I go and get the newest snapshot when it becomes available just to mess around, here's a few screenshots of what the graphics look like, and of a house that was created in the game.
As you can see it far surpasses anything minecraft could every look like, it still uses blocks for all the structures, however you can change the size of these blocks, there's a toolbar at the bottom, the 6 squares on the left hold your tools, which in the sandbox is just the different shapes that are available, by using your mousewheel you can change the size of object you're going to place. You place objects by left clicking and destroy by right clicking. You'll also notice that water looks amazing, if you're not running a dedicated graphics card I would not recommend playing this, as there's not any options available to you to lower the setting except view distance.
Keep in mind that I'm running,
intel i5-2500k 4.3ghz
16gigs of ram
240gig samsung ssd
ASUS 6670 1gb ddr5
This game will get my fans cranking, could just be that it's not very efficiently coded, but none the less don't except intel hd 4000 specs to run it very smoothly.
