View Full Version : [SOLVED] Creature guid overflow

So i Keep Getting that Error it seems someone with DB access to my server imported a premade SQL that set a creature in the world.creature DB to a GUID of 15000333 and its been going since that..i see big number Jumps so i think others were also imported but now we are seeing Crashs with that error...
Just wondering how i fix this? as there are over 2000 NPCs with GUIDs over 15000333 now...
Thanks in Advance!

The only thing I can really think of doing right now is to remove older NPCs. Try that and reset the guid yourself. But you'll have to edit other tables as well. :S
Someone else can resolve this in a better way. But I would try that. :P

You can't have GUID's over 1000000, this is a client limitation. See more information here: http://www.trinitycore.org/f/topic/10188-guid-overflow/

Also see this:
It is my last attempt to create a reguid SQL for NPCs for TC.
However the relations in smart scripts is way too complicated and this can not handle it.
Read the comments at the top of the SQL.
Due to the smart AI thing you should not probably try reguid all NPCs since C++ scritpts that use guids and smart scripts will be screwed.
Only use on your own spawns that you know are not using either and make a backup of database before trying to run.

so what i did was export all my custom NPCs than imported the whole table to a new DB but without my Custom NPCs and when creating the number i switched the number at the bottem to the highest number left in my DB which was low like 213,000
) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=16773623 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 ROW_FORMAT=DYNAMIC COMMENT='Creature System';
) ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=213,001 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 ROW_FORMAT=DYNAMIC COMMENT='Creature System';
than imported my custom ones and started up the server. there are some errors like paths not working but i just gotta redo all the guid's on some of my custom NPCs and everything is good now! 1 hour and no crash!!!
