View Full Version : Spawn Chest With Player's Inventory?

On death, I'd like to spawn a chest containing the killed players inventory within a-la UOWoW. How would one go about this? I'm running MangosZero w/ Eluna.

Not sure if Eluna has the required methods to do this. It requires, after the player dies, to move the loot from their inventory into the chest, and that needs some specific functions(methods) to do that. It also requires the chest to be spawned there forever (until gameobjects table is cleaned up) for it to be lootable for all players. If the chest is a temp spawn, only the player who spawned it can loot the chest, which is why, unless there's a better way. I did this in TC 3.3.5a C++; hence why the info I'm giving you is important. Though, I'm not entirely sure about MangosZero.

It's possible, but needs a few methods to be implemented, like tommy said. You would also need some kind of cache, unless you don't want the chests to be re spawned again after a server restart etc
