Okay well the title says it all mainly, but the thing is I tried to port forward a Cataclysm 4.3.4 trinity core server and others may join me, I couldn't find a tutorial for Cataclysm 4.3.4 so I port forwarded it that of Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5 and well it hasn't worked on the second computer. Works on the host but nobody can join; if someone could please tell me how I can get a Cataclysm 4.3.4 working so others may join me that would be much appreciated or if you could direct me to a guide preferably for Cataclysm my skype is iamlokeyy also if I have put this in the wrong section I'm sorry.

General Tutorials isn't a section for help. Support is.

Anyway, what ports did you forward? Is your firewall or other programs that could cause anyone not connecting off? Are your ports actually opened?

Well with the wrath of the lich king set up others were able to join so I would assume they are opened cause the only thing I changed was the repack and the ports forwarded are:

You can use http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to see if they are opened. Also, ports don't change when you use another expansion, they change when you edit the ports in your configuration files. :P

Alright well it's saying it cannot see my service on the ports...

Are you running the server while you're checking? Because they don't open until they are being used. Also, how are you forwarding these ports?

11-04-2013, 05:53 PM
Yes I'm running the server as I check, and I'm forwarding them through my router thing @

What model router? Can you screen shot just an image of your port forwarding section and how you have it setup currently?

113 SMC8014WN-SHW = Router and what do you mean how I have it set up?

You just showed how you have it setup :)

And I see your issue. You are using your gateway IP. Go to start > type cmd and hit enter, then type ipconfig and see what your internal 192.168.0.x ip is and use that for your ports.

Alright I'll try that and let you know of any changes if any

If that Active column on the right is a checkbox, make sure those are checked too.

They look like check boxes but you click them and it refreshes the page some weird stuff lol. But in authserver and worldserver I change the IP's to that or leave them

Alright well the host can still login but the other computer cannot, what IP should he have in the client 192.168.0.x?

11-04-2013, 07:22 PM
All your configs should be like default and your "external" IP (whatsmyip.com) goes in your auth > realms table and that is what's used in the client for set realmlist (your external ip)

Can you post another screenshot of your current forwarded ports section on the router on what it looks like now

114 thats them now and again the host is able to connect and the other pc just gets login server down

Can you show what happens when you click the Active box

11-04-2013, 07:37 PM
Kinda hard cause I actually clicked the active box this time and it refreshes the page every box you click and they wont be checked and both the host and other computer have the same external IP

You have TeamViewer? I can check everything for you
